Support Team

Serving Families Behind the Scenes

Not every role at the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center happens in front of the crowd. The Support Team helps care for families and strengthen the mission of the IL HRC in quiet but meaningful ways.

These roles allow volunteers to serve in ways that support and encourage the community behind the scenes.

Special Needs Support

Special Needs Support volunteers help ensure that events and activities are welcoming for families whose children have additional needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Offering extra assistance during events
• Helping children participate comfortably in activities
• Supporting parents who may need additional help

This role helps ensure that the IL HRC remains a place where all homeschool families feel welcome.

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is a vital part of the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center. These volunteers commit to praying regularly for the families, events, and future growth of the IL HRC.

Prayer requests may include:

• Families in the homeschool community
• Upcoming events and activities
• Leadership decisions
• The long-term vision of the IL HRC

Members of the Prayer Team may pray from home and on their own schedule, but their support is deeply valued.
