Help Guide and Grow the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center

The Illinois Homeschool Resource Center is still in its early stages, and we believe God is building something meaningful for homeschool families in Central Illinois.

The Leadership Team exists to help guide that growth with wisdom, responsibility, and shared vision.

Leadership roles require a higher level of commitment than other volunteer opportunities. These individuals help provide direction, maintain organizational stability, and ensure that the IL HRC continues to operate in a way that serves families well and reflects our mission.

Because of this, leadership positions are filled by individuals who:

• are dependable and proactive
• align with the mission and vision of the IL HRC
• are willing to take ownership of responsibilities
• are motivated to help the organization grow and thrive

Leadership team members help steward the future of the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center.

Treasurer

The Treasurer helps oversee the financial health and stewardship of the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center.

Responsibilities may include:

• reviewing income and expenses
• helping track financial reports
• providing guidance on financial decisions
• ensuring responsible stewardship of donated funds

This role is best suited for someone with financial, bookkeeping, or budgeting experience who is willing to help provide careful oversight of the center’s finances.

Team Leaders

Team Leaders help oversee and coordinate the work of each volunteer team within the IL HRC.

These leaders help ensure that volunteers are supported and that each area of the organization runs smoothly.

Leadership areas may include:

• Community Team Leader
• Outreach Team Leader
• Support Team Leader

Responsibilities may include:

• coordinating volunteers within the team
• helping communicate needs and opportunities
• assisting with planning and organization
• supporting the long-term growth of the IL HRC

Team Leaders play an important role in helping the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center grow in a healthy and sustainable way.
